What is your Horses Name, Age, Breed?:
I rode 2 horses this year one was Sugar who is a 10 year old quarter horse mare this was the first time she had done anything like this and she loved it. My other horse is my pride and joy Sadie she is a 20 year old appendix mare who I have been barrel racing on for around 8 years she has the biggest heart I have ever seen in a horse. But have had her for 16 years.
How many years have you been riding?:
I have been riding since I was 1 year old so 25 years.
How many years have you been with the Cariboo Cowgirls?:
I started riding with the Cariboo Cowgirls late in 2010, then rode with them for 2011. It was one of the funnest thing I have ever done.
What other equine activities do you do outside of the Cariboo Cowgirls?:
I show english and western, jump, barrel race, gymkhana, trail ride pretty much everything you can think of on a horse I have tried.
What do you like best about being in a drill team?:
I like the thrill of running full out into a arena and hearing the crowd go crazy. Being with a group of men and women who are just as proud to be there as I am, showing off what talent we have. Knowing that you have friends there when you need them and that if anything was to ever happen they are there to pick you up. But mostly to be part of a group of men and women who have a common goal ingraining a smile to others faces especially the kids when they see us coming.
