What is your Horses Name, Age, Breed?:
Tahoe is 12 years old this year and an Appaloosa cross who has done show and many trail rides. He is 15.3 hh gelding.
How many years have you been riding?:
I am 47 and have been involved with horses for as long as I can remember, I am a farrier and have been doing this for over 14 years.
How many years have you been with the Cariboo Cowgirls?:
I have been involved with the Cariboo Cowgirls from the day I moved here to Williams Lake BC in February 2007. I rode for a year and then had to slow down due to medical reasons, I received a full hip replacement in October 2010 and am good as new and rode with them again the summer of 2011. I am going to ride again this year and have a real great time. I also was treasurer/director for a club in Chilliwack for over 5 years and learnt and met lots of interesting people and things
What other equine activities do you do outside of the Cariboo Cowgirls?:
I also do training for people when I have time and enjoy this very much, I am into the Natural Balance Horsemanship and have trained under Jonathon Field and Pat Parelli for many years. I have entered in many horse events of all kinds, I used to barrel race full time and lots of gymkanas with the chilliwack riding club.
What do you like best about being in a drill team?:
I love to do rodeo and competition also.
