What is your Horses Name, Age, Breed?:
Shaman, a 6 year old quarter horse gelding. He is a big boy about 16.2. I traded a friend in Alkali Lake my broke to death mare straight across for him at 2 years old with no training. There was something about him that just clicked with me. He is such a gentle painted giant and keeps me sane in this crazy world!
How many years have you been riding?:
20 years or so.
How many years have you been with the Cariboo Cowgirls?:
I am new to the drill team this year and am looking forward to it!
What other equine activities do you do outside of the Cariboo Cowgirls?:
I help out with a few local ranches here in the Cariboo riding as well as pleasure riding with my family. I have been around a rodeo and ranching crowd for a good portion of my life. Local ranching has been in my family and horses have been a passion in my life for many years now.
What do you like best about being in a drill team?:
Well this is my first year but I look forward to the experience of it all! It's a great opportunity for me to participate in a totally different equine world than what I'm use to!
