What is your Horses Name, Age, Breed?:
"Mickey", he's a 13 year old quarter horse cross gelding. I am fortunate because Mickey has run drill before, so one of us knows what we are doing!
How many years have you been riding?:
Off and on since I was a child. In the past few decades, it has been more 'off', than 'on', I'm afraid. I have been off raising my family, so there was not a lot of extra time to spend on riding. The kid's are pretty much grown now so I thought it was time I got back to it.
How many years have you been with the Cariboo Cowgirls?:
This will be my fourth year with the Cowgirls.
What other equine activities do you do outside of the Cariboo Cowgirls?:
Trail riding, gymkhanas and the likes. I contribute a fair bit of personal time to the organizational component of our local riding club, coordinating youth gymkhana's and other equestrian events.
What do you like best about being in a drill team?:
I am an on-the-ground kind of member. I help out wherever.
